Explore the Mersey River and the Port of Devonport from the deck of Devonport’s own tall ship the Julie Burgess. Departing from our berth at 1:00 PM on the 23rd May we will cruise down river to meet the sea. During the 1.5 hr trip you will be able to view the current re-development of the Port to accommodate the new ferries. A great opportunity for a leisurely lunch (BYO) while enjoying the scenery offered by the river and environs.

1 October to 30 June

Commencing 1 October until 30 June each year our regular Bass Strait, 2.5 hour Sunday sailings will be available every Sunday, subject to weather, departing from our berth in East Devonport at 1:00 PM.

While on board you’ll hear more about the ketch, now the last of the original fishing vessels that plied the seas around the Bass Strait and islands, whilst enjoying a selection of locally sourced light refreshments.
