Sail Plan – Transit to Hobart

This sail plan is to provide information to prospective passengers and crew members in respect to the requirements and expectations of all participating persons for the voyage from Devonport to Hobart.

It is indicative of the proposed itinerary, based on an assumed departure on Saturday 1 February, and may be subject to change due to weather or sea conditions at the time of sailing and during the voyage. The sail plan takes into consideration known factors such as the state of the tidal flow through Banks Straight, the requirement for rest periods, conditions South of Cape Hoy and the need to be at anchor in Barnes Bay, Bruny Island by the afternoon on Thursday, 6th February 2025.

The plan does not overrule any maritime regulation in respect to the safe operation of the ship. It may also be varied prior to departure should circumstances at the proposed time of departure warrant.
