Sail Plan – Transit to Hobart and Return

The attached sail plan is to provide information to prospective passengers and crew members in respect to the requirements and expectations of all participating persons for the voyage from Devonport to Hobart and the return voyage from Hobart.

It is indicative of the proposed itinerary, based on an assumed departure on Saturday 30 January, and may be subject to change due to weather or sea conditions at the time of sailing and during the voyage. The sail plan takes into consideration known factors such as the state of the tidal flow through Banks Straight, the requirement for rest periods, conditions South of Cape Hoy and the need to be moored at the Dock in Hobart by the afternoon on Thursday, 4th February 2027.

The plan does not overrule any maritime regulation in respect to the safe operation of the ship. It may also be varied prior to departure should circumstances at the proposed time of departure warrant.

Due to the nature of the voyage, a watch system will be implemented 30 minutes after the vessel departs its berth. Suitably qualified passengers may elect to participate in a watch and assist in managing the vessel during the journey.

Cost: $2,750 each way all inclusive; payable as a non-refundable deposit of $550 on acceptance of your booking and the balance by 17 January 2023 for Devonport to Hobart and 24 January for Hobart to Devonport.
